Undergraduate Courses Offered

The School of Library and Information Science provides the university community with online, onsite, and blended courses at the undergraduate level to enhance the students understanding and integration of research and technology skills into their learning and professional preparation and development. The school offers several courses and continues to develop new offerings to supplement and enhance the infromation and technology literacy needs and backgrounds of students in other programs and majors. LIS2005 Library Internet & Research Skills is currently available to students as a general education elective.
   
  LIS2005: Library Internet & Research Skills - An introduction to information research skills as they apply to using both academic libraries and the Internet. Assignments will focus on developing skills to locate, evaluate, and use sources of information.

LIS3361: Web Page Design & Management
- Covers a variety of strategies in designing and maintaining attractive and effective World Wide Web pages for publication on the Internet using HTML & XHTML.
